Sometimes in life there are weird coincidences- things that share similar names, birthdays or events but not much else. For instance, John Cena and John Oliver both being called ‘John’ and both being born on the same day. They may share these similar things, but not much else. Same as the sport ‘football’ in Europe (or soccer in North America) and football in North America (or American Football in Europe)- they both share the same name, but not much else. That can be the same with movies too- they may have the same title, but they are completely different beasts.

In this video we will take a look at some of the best and funniest movies that share the same name with another, with one often being slightly more popular than the other. This includes big, long running franchises, classic movies from the 40s and 50s sharing the same title as modern blockbusters, and Hollywood money makers sharing their name with obscure indie flicks.
