DC League Of Super Pets: 25 Things You Missed

Under normal circumstances your pets have superpowers. Granted, most of them are trumped by your opposable thumbs and tool use. They who control the can opener, control the world. Of pets. They can smell things better, they can hear better, they can see in certain circumstances better. Most of them are faster. That’s why we give them superpower jobs like rescue dogs. Clark Kent isn’t your average guy, though he’s more of a Superman. In fact he is Superman. So his dog, Bark Kent aka Krypto the Super Dog has to be something special. Young Kal-el’s puppy hitched a ride in his one baby life raft so that he could grow up to be Superman’s best friend. Now, just like his trusty caretaker, he’s got his moment in the sun saving the day with the League of Super-pets featuring old and new faces. Old stalwarts like Ace the Bat Hound and Mertel McCurtle join a world peppered with DC comics lore both overt and some deeper cuts. It may be the most DC world that has ever appeared on screen. Hal Jordan’s Ferris Air makes an appearance as well as fictional fast food favorites Big Belly Burger and O'Shaughnessy's as well as coffee giants Jitters and Sundollar as well. There’s even an appearance from Dog-El, Krypto’s dad in a take on Superman’s fortress of solitude. There’s more than just the Black Adam cameo in the end credits scene to discover in DC’s League of Super Pets.
