Once an actor shows up on screen in a role that they are perfectly suited for, it becomes almost impossible to see anyone else in the part! But even the biggest actors have to go through an audition and screen testing process! Lucky for us, some of these Hollywood screen tests have been released to the public, and they are so much fun to watch! Sometimes they prove just how perfect an actor, or two actors are for their role. For example, an incredible video of Chris Pratt and Dave Bautista testing for their parts in Guardians of the Galaxy makes it perfectly clear why they won the roles in the end. Their chemistry is so good, and Bautista is already so in character as Draxx that we couldn’t believe our eyes. Actors like Jason Momoa, Christian Bale, and Steve Carell made it clear that they were perfect for their parts in Game of Thrones, The Dark Knight, and Anchorman, respectively! Tom Holland proved in his audition that he was the perfect Spider Man, and Robert Downey Jr blew everyone away in his screen test for Iron Man.
Other times, we get to see which other actors got inches away from taking on iconic roles, but didn’t quite make the cut. A screen test of Kate Winslet auditioning for Titanic proves that she was perfect for the role, but the other actor she is working with might just totally surprise you!
