As pretty much everybody knows, the hugely popular Marvel Cinematic Universe is split into phases. Phase One began with Iron Man in 2008 and culminated with the formation of The Avengers in 2012. Phase Two began with 2013's Iron Man 3 and ended with Ant-Man in 2015's. And Phase Three got underway with 2015's Captain America: Civil War and will come to a climax with next year's untitled fourth Avengers movie.

After that, nobody's really sure what will happen in the fourth phase of the franchise.
We obviously know there'll be a second Spider-Man movie and a third Guardians of the Galaxy offering - because those are actually confirmed - and it's fairly obvious that there'll be sequels to the likes of Doctor Strange and Black Panther. Additionally, there are rumours of a Black Widow solo movie (yey, at long last!), but given that Phase Three is ten movies long, there are undoubtedly still a lot of unanswered questions about Phase Four - assuming it's the same length.

In this video, we'll take you through ten theories about MCU Phase Four that are so crazy they just might be true!

Those theories are; that the whole universe will be reset, that the Fantastic Four and their supporting characters will be introduced, that mutants will be introduced, that the villainous Red Skull is set to return, there'll be a Secret Invasion movie, a Secret Wars movie and a Siege movie, that there'll be an influx of supernatural characters and concepts, that there'll be a new character in the role of Captain America, and that the Mad Titan Thanos will return.
