Other times, you have examples like Game of Thrones, which was without a doubt, the most popular show of the 2010s not only in North America, but the entire world. That’s also over a billion dollar franchise thanks to the amount of money HBO raked in due to HBO subscriptions, as well as all the merchandising of material.
