Welcome back, ScreenRanters! Disney is quite an old production company. They’ve been around for many decades. Over the years, society has evolved. As such, many phrases, images, and scenes in Disney films are no longer accepted by the majority of people. With Disney Plus being about, and the company being family friendly, the House Of Mouse has gone through their library and censored their own films. Often with editing and redubbing. Today, we’re going to look at some of the instances when Disney has censored their films. As well as see why they made these changes.

Now, for the paragraph on what you can expect to see in the video! If you don’t want spoilers, go and watch it straight away! We have one entry that involves a certain planned blooper in Pixar’s Toy Story 2. There’s also a censorship change in Lilo And Stitch involving a pizza box. We also have the recent CGI hair inclusion in Splash that stars Tom Hanks. It’s a bit weird when considering what happens in a Marvel film. There’s a scene in The Lion King where an inappropriate word is created in the dust. We also have a moment in Who Framed Roger Rabbit involving Jessica’s dress. We also have slurs and cursing changes in The Adventures Of Bullwhip Griffin, Free Solo, and Adventures Of Babysitting. There’s a moment in 1932’s Santa’s Workshop that has thankfully been removed. Finally, there’s the tale of a grainy image in The Rescuers that sparked a mass recall!
