With fan engagement becoming a huge part of how studios make movies today, we take a look at some of the major ways that backlash from fans changed movies that we know. Whether that’s before they are even made, to just mere months before they are to be released and even changing a movie after they have been released- fan interaction can be crucial to whether a movie will be a massive success or a giant flop.

In this video we will focus on some of the major changes movies made in order to cater to their fans- including the redesigning of the iconic and beloved Sonic the Hedgehog in the 2020 movie, fan prevention of Jack Black playing a popular superhero, to the white whale of cinema- the Snyder Cut.

But is fan inclusion always a good thing? Can it help preserve or improve a movie or can it be potentially fatal to a franchise? We will see if fan involvement has a positive impact on these movies, or a negative one.

What change do you think was the most important to a movie? What changes do you wish you had seen happen in other movies? And were there any major changes we missed? Let us know your views and opinions in the comments below and make sure to hit the subscribe button for more awesome content!
