Rick and Morty is one of the greatest animated series of all time. I don’t think that’s too much of an exaggeration do you? It’s a perfect mixture of smart and funny and it’s a treat to tune in to see what the twisted minds of Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland come up with next… that is… whenever there are new episodes of course.

Throughout its 4 seasons, Rick and Morty has given us countless movie parodies and spoofs that are sometimes even better than the real thing. Look at how the show parodied Jurassic Park with it’s disgustingly funny Anatomy Park episode. Look at how Rick and Morty gave us an Avengers-like team up with the Vindicators, only to put them in elaborate Saw-based death traps. Look at things like their Titanic recreation that doesn’t sink, or the Freddy Krueger knock-off, but still legally safe, Scary Terry. All these instances are gut-bustingly funny. And of course, you can’t mention Rick and Morty movie parodies without talking about Back to the Future, but you’d be surprised just how much the show is based off the iconic time traveling franchise.
