10 Ways Thor: Love And Thunder Could Change The MCU

Which of the MCU’s many fans believes themselves worthy enough to know how things will shake out upon the release of Thor: Love and Thunder? Since Taika Waititi’s last run through the MCU a lot has changed. In the days after Endgame and with this being Thor’s fourth outing the god who learns through loss may be in for a big shakeup that could ripple through the Marvel Universe. We know Jane Foster is taking on Thor’s mantle and the effects could be huge if the comics are anything to go by. From a possible cancer throughtline to Valkyrie’s LGBTQ+ status a lot could be introduced to the MCU. Will we see the Marvel Olympians? WIll Lady Sif come back? What’s up with the Guardians of The Galaxy? How will this all be incorporated into one movie that looks like the first true Marvel Rom-com? Thor’s Hammer comes with a lot of baggage to go through back in New Asgard. So hop on a bolt and let’s ride the lightning through the biggest changes we could see in this realm.

Taika said he “doesn't like laughing at people unless they're in a privileged position or if they're in authority.” So in a rom com that sounds like a power dynamic issue to me. He knows how to mix indie movie comedy with major movie tragedy and still find the sweetness in the middle. If you’ve never gone back through his catalogue make sure you check out his film Boy and tell me you don’t see someThor in there.
