Cartoons have the benefit of not being bound by reality. They can quite often do whatever they want, physics and logic are simply recommendations. With that in mind, some of the inventions created in these cartoons are out there, but we want them as depicted in their respective shows now. Some of these inventions have real world counterparts already, such as the robotic vacuum, which some of you might already own. But they look and operate nothing like Rosie from the Jetsons. Likewise from that show, their depiction of actual jetpacks is so much cooler than the lame water jetpacks we currently have today. We want to take a jetpack to work!

There are cars that claim to be able to fly thanks to hovering just above the ground, but like the jetpacks, we want a car that flies in the sky. The 3D Printer has changed our lives by making it possible to create just about anything. But we haven’t been able to print food yet, which is something the Simpsons joked about in one episode. Likewise, they also showcased the impossible and that’s what makes us want the time travelling toaster from the Halloween Special.

Akin to that, Rick and Morty showcased alternate realities thanks to using portals and also the interdimensional cable. Thanks to other dimensions, Rick was able to showcase the Broken Leg Serum, which would be a very handy and popular over-the-counter medication for our reality. Dexter’s Laboratories showed us the Neuromatic Protocore, which could be really great for humanity or really terrible depending on who gets their hands on it. Is it worth the risk?
