Doing your own stunts is no easy task! It goes without saying that any actor or actress able to pull off their own stunt work is worthy of praise. But so much of that praise goes to actors like Jackie Chan and Tom Cruise. Two actors who are undoubtedly worthy of that praise, but there’s so many more who can do such impressive things! Jumping out of a window, fight choreography, or even managing to be a benihana chef! Such skills deserve recognition! So we’ve compiled a list of 15 actors and actresses who manage to pull off these impressive feats, even while putting themselves at risk. One entry in particular seems to injure himself in every entry of his franchise!

Thankfully no one on this list appears to have sustained any permanent injuries, although they do seem to all indicate that as they get older, they need more recovery time. Which makes sense! What may be the most impressive is that many of the people featured on this list are well into middle age, and yet they still manage to pull off these incredible stunts. It just shows that age is only a number, so take good care of your body!

It’s important to remember that these stunts aren’t just performed by the actor and actress, but a seasoned and trained stunt team and crew, who are able to ensure maximum safety precautions for those performing them. So please do not try these at home! Injuries can and do occur and they can be permanent!
