20 Things You Missed In Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode 3

After years of speculation, rumor and numerous conversations on Star Wars Twitter, Ewan McGregor has finally made his Star Wars comeback and good god is it wonderful. Premiering on Disney+, Obi-Wan Kenobi finds the Jedi jaded, beaten and resigned to defeat, kind of like me after 10 minutes at the gym, but when a young Princess Leia is taken prisoner by our favorite bass player, our “Ben”, is forced to become Obi-Wan once again…Traveling to the outlaw haven of Daiyu, Obi-Wan rescues Leia, but also learns Anakin Skywalker survived their epic lightsaber battle. Episode 3 picks up right after the big revelation. The ex Jedi and Leia are desperately running from the rowdy Reva, encountering both scorn and kindness from the locals. Though an escape route finally emerges, Kenobi’s hope is shattered into pieces by a face to face encounter with the man himself, Darth Vader, a mini rematch if you will. Episode 3 brings us Nostalgia, guest voices, humorous nods, a big jedi name drop and the list goes on and on. Watch out for spoilers and strap yourselves in, man!
