SOMEBODY ONCE said that the internet can make anyone immortal and given Shrek’s domination of the internet, for better or for worse, he’s the perfect example of that but this isn’t about his impact on culture or the memes, we’re going back to where it all started with the movies. So let’s take a look at some of the things you may have missed in the Shrek Franchise. Spoilers I guess but that’s more on you for not seeing these by now. It’s been 20 years man. But if you’re younger than the first spider-man movie in 2001, I guess it makes sense. You win this one passage of time. Movies like Shrek have a lot of different references to them and that’s kinda the point of them. They’re like onions, the more you peel back the layers the more things you find and there’s even two tv holiday specials in the SCU that we didn’t talk about in the video but considering that they were direct to TV specials, I assume that a lot of you missed these entirely anyway. I know you didn’t Greg in the comment section but everyone isn’t you Greg! But for those who don’t feel the need to tell strangers on the internet the vast knowledge that they have about the most niche things possible, drop what your favorite thing in the franchise is.
