Welcome back, ScreenRanters! The Iron Man trilogy is probably one of the greatest superhero trilogies of all time. Now, with Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark no longer in the MCU due to Avengers: Endgame, we wanted to go over his three solo films. We’ve collected the best Easter Eggs, references, and hidden details that Iron Man, Iron Man 2, and Iron Man 3 have to offer! Some of which hinted to the evolution of Marvel’s cinematic universe. Some of the references nod towards the comics. Some to other franchises completely. All of which will give you a grand dose of some Stark magic...that sounded weird.
Now, for the paragraph that gives you a taste of what’s in the video. To avoid spoilers, immediately watch the video instead! We have one meta reference on the actor change of James Rhodes. From Terrence Howard to Don Cheadle. Another Easter Egg involves the mutant super team, the X-Men. We also have a completely different franchise brought up in Star Wars. How? Watch to see! We also look at an allusion to a comic book by Jon Favreau! There’s also proof that the Incredible Hulk film is in the MCU! We have the foreshadowing of the creation of Vision. There’s a scene that involves Elon Musk which is often forgotten! We also have a reference to an Iron Man cartoon from 1966. On top of that, there’s a nod towards 1973’s Superfriends. The Superhero cartoon from DC! So, for all these and many, many more, check out the video today!
