Let’s flashback all the way to 2016, yeah a WHOLE three years ago. Flip open our journal here. Ohhh -- nice. Some notes on Captain America: Civil War: Black Panther was awesome, definitely has solo movie potential. This kind of feels like an Avengers movie. Why is Steve Rogers making out with someone who is practically his niece? Hmm -- what’s this -- a whole page with bold black letters. “Aunt May got HAWT!!”

Yeah, that pretty much sums up the whole Civil War experience, saying what we were all thinking. The MCU definitely took some drastic changes with characters, but one of the most dramatic is the transformation of Aunt May -- or as Tony Stark put it, Aunt Hottie! So let’s dive deeper into the essential character to world of Spider-Man. Time to learn more about Aunt May and her portrayer Marisa Tomei before we see her hit the big screen again in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Spider-Man: Homecoming finally skipped the obligatory origin story and alas we never got to see Uncle Ben dispersing some advice as he dies in the streets of New York City. The movie almost took things one step further with the younger Aunt May -- they were going to have her dating again in the movie!

Aunt May’s discovery of Peter’s Spider-Man persona had never been done on the big screen before, so seeing it now was a nice cliffhanger -- and one Kevin Feige planned for nearly a decade! Want proof? Watch to see all these incredible Aunt May facts and several more about the MCU version of the character! There are many surprises and a great connection to Tony Stark himself!
