Now that it’s number one on Netflix, it’s a great time to rewatch the fantastic series, Avatar: The Last Airbender. It’s also a chance for even the biggest fans to take a closer look at the series and maybe spot some of these Easter eggs and hidden references. We will point out some things about the journey of Avatar Aang and show you what you might have missed the first time around. You’ll also learn about co-creator Michael DiMartino’s connection to a very famous and very different animated series! If you laughed at the Ember Island Players, you might have been also laughing at the infamous M. Night Shyamalan movie! We will talk about where Monk yatso got his name and what was really wrong with Princess Azula. Everyone loves Uncle Iroh, but we almost saw a lot more of him in the series. Prince Zuko went through an amazing character arc, but one aspect of his story was only addressed in the comic books. Plus, the Toph Beifong we all know and love was originally going to be a completely different character.
