Even though Tom Ellis' daughters don't particularly watch him on Netflix, the rest of the world does. And boy is he a Devil! Charming audiences for a fifth season now, the actor has reprised his role as the lead and the Devil of Lucifer, an urban fantasy series on Netflix.

Lucifer was picked up by Netflix from the brink of cancellation after Fox pulled it from its entertainment roster, and the show has catapulted into a different league under the OTT giant's tutelage. When Lucifer Season 5 hit the platform, it topped that week's Elseiver's ratings, outranking stellar shows like The Umbrella Academy and The Office. The Season is yet to be complete; the second part of its staggered Season pipeline will be ready for distribution in 2021.

Season 5 brings several character arcs closer to culmination and has seen the show at perhaps its most creative performances. Episodes like iDiablo epitomise its meta-referencing and needless to say, the season is packed with delightful easter eggs, eclectic props and a long awaited union. This video explores all these premises to the T as it pulls Lucifer's incredible textual and subtextual themes into focus.
