Turns out there was a lot more going on in the background of the Peaky Blinders than we realized!

With the Season 6 release date coming around eventually, we thought it would be nice to revisit some of the references, facts and trivia laid across this incredible Crime Drama from a post World War 1 Birmingham.
The filmmakers behind the Peaky Blinders love putting in a lot of finer details into the show, which makes it even more fun for eagle eyed viewers when we take a looking beyond during a re-watch.
Stuff from were the Peaky Blinders real? There were Godfather references in the show? The set designers pay homage to Cillian Murphy and Steven Knight in the set design?
Turns out Helen McCrory, who plays Polly, got her accent from studying hours of interviews of Ozzy Osbourne!
The soundtrack between the BBC and Netflix versions are different due to licensing issues!
Alfie Solomon (Tom Hardy)’s apartment is built to look like purgatory?! (Even though it does look a lot like Margate).
From film posters in the background, to visions of horses, to how the characters dress, set design, to minute details attributed to each character, let’s dive into this world of debauchery and watch Thomas Shelby do what he does best.
