Crowd, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Peep Show thrive so well because they are masters at cringe comedy. Comedy so dark and uncomfortable that you are left wincing and in actual physical pain at the discomfort. But sometimes, shows aren’t trying to make you cringe and are actually trying to be serious, but that makes them all the more cringeworthy.
