The futures of every single Marvel Cinematic Universe character are currently up in the air after Avengers: Infinity War.

Those characters who were killed off could all return, and those who survived could be killed off whilst trying to bring them back, so it's impossible to predict what might happen going forward.

That being said, fans have theories about pretty much everyone - in this case, Thor - and, in this video, we'll look into what might happen in the God of Thunder's MCU future. This video contains spoilers, as does this text.

The theories in question are; that he'll be killed off, that he'll retire from superhero duties, that he'll be the one who kills the Mad Titan Thanos in Avengers 4, that he'll join the Guardians of the Galaxy, that he'll rule a new Asgard on Earth, that he'll get his iconic war hammer Mjolnir back somehow, that he'll unleash a bunch of new powers from the comics, that he'll form a brand new MCU superhero team (such as the God Squad or the Thor Corps), that he'll head off on his own to seek out new adventures, and that the next Thor in the MCU will be female (but probably not in the form of Natalie Portman's Jane Foster!).
