Aquaman just swam his way into theaters, bringing some fresh life into the DCEU and finally making Aquaman the bonafide action star he should be. While the film featured a lot of non-stop action, spectacular effects, and a good story with plenty of potential future, there were some things that just didn’t make a lot of sense. So go on a journey with us to recap the movie and point out the things which us think twice about what we were watching.

Some of these things include Atlanna’s journey through the portal and away from her family. While gone, Aquaman gets trained by a mentor, but is never once brought to Atlantis and doesn’t know what life is like there. Then there’s the younger version of Arthur Curry and his ability to communicate with animals. Sure the field trip was short -- but it did bring on a lot of questions. Mera clearly has not spent a lot of time outside Atlantis, but surely she knows what flowers are? It was kind of strange for her to just munch on them in the movie -- especially when in other scenes she is presented as highly smart and intelligent. Then there’s Aquaman’s brother, the Ocean Master -- who wants to wage war against ALL humans after a submarine attack. His plan is full of all kinds of crazy faults and we never actually see it happen. Watch to see all the things that made no sense and a lot more about the movie Aquaman!
