The Midnight Society is back for a whole new season of Are You Afraid of the Dark, complete with an upgrade from three to six episodes! The new season premieres Friday February 12 at 8/7c on Nickelodeon with an all new cast and totally different premise than we’ve ever seen from this popular Nickelodeon franchise. There’s plenty to look forward to when season two, aka Curse of the Shadows. This time, the Midnight Society will have to contend with the nightmarish Shadowman! After this sinister evil captures group leader Connor, it’s up to Luke, Jai, Hanna, Gabby, and Seth to figure out the mystery hidden deep within the Shadowman’s wooded domain. How our protagonists will manage this feat remains a mystery, but it will undoubtedly involve some wild storytelling, scares, and even an appearance from original series character Sardo!

If you’re unfamiliar with this new iteration of the show, it all started with a limited series reboot in 2019, consisting of three episodes. In that season, a different group of heroes had to contend with an evil circus and its leader Mr. Tophat. That version got rave reviews and love from fans new and old alike, which led us to this new iteration. Our new team’s acting chops are rounded out by Bryce Gheisar as Luke, Beatrice Kitsos as Hanna, Parker Queenan as Connor, Malia Baker as Gabby, Arjun Athalye as Jai, Dominic Mariche as Seth, and Ryan Beil as Sardo.
