Description

Ah, time travel. The one chance to go back and give our lives a redo. Or to say the thing you meant to say to someone who stopped traveling forward in time with you at the speed of time. With all those possibilities and all of the regrets we pile up as we get older it’s no wonder that time travel stories can be so compelling. We all want that redo even if the narrative of time travel movies tends to be that altering the past can have unintended consequences. But then there are a lot of cautionary tales where we’re more than willing to ignore the cautionary part. Now Deadpool and Gamora have teamed up to travel in time with the time machine the Hulk invented so they could visit Elektra. Well, not those characters specifically but rather the actors who play them. They’ve been joined by a new young actor, Walker Scobell who has the unenviable task of portraying the beginnings of the motor mouth that made the actor perfect for playing Wade Wilson. With this kind of high concept family action movie a lot goes into the process of making it from new technology to old friends and one memorized but wildly inappropriate monologue.
