The Mortal Kombat franchise has been going strong for decades now, but the one-on-one magical combat hasn't quite fared as well on the big screen as it has on your favorite game console. The original 1995 "Mortal Kombat" is sometimes considered a cult classic, but it didn't exactly dazzle most critics and fans on arrival.
