The Mandalorian season 2 has really upped the ante when it comes to Jedi inclusion. The first season seemed adamant to pave its own path away from the normal Star Wars ideas and characters, but that all changed with the recent batch of episodes. This season has been all about Mando trying to reunite Baby Yoda, or I guess as we should all call him now, Grogu, with the Jedi in order to help Grogu train, but the path there has been difficult! But with Mando’s new mission, wouldn’t it make sense that the most famous Jedi in the galaxy at that moment show up to check on Baby Yoda? That’s right, I’m talking about Luke Skywalker.

At this stage in the timeline, Luke should be working to rebuild the Jedi order. And although we know that ultimately fails, right now he would be on the lookout for force sensitive individuals. So if he did show up in the series, just who would be the right person to play him? The name that a lot of fans like to throw around is Sebastian Stan, who bears a striking resemblance to young Mark Hamill AND has a seemingly great relationship with Disney which always helps. But what about others? What about The Queen’s Gambit star Thomas Brodie-Sangster? Or Supernatural’s Mischa Collins? Yeah those are some far out there choices and I’m sure there are a lot of people who would just before they de-age Mark Hamill and have him play the part!
