So you’ve just finished Season 3 of Cobra Kai, we know your heart may be pounding from all the excitement, not only from the climactic battle, but for the cliffhanger which sets up Season 4’s newest Villain.
The finale of Cobra Kai season 3 gave both fans of the original Karate Kid series and new fans, the fight we have all been waiting for; Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso joining forces and taking on John Kreese in a climactic showdown that was so epic and so 80s, it was like watching the ending of Return of the Jedi.
After defeating Kreese, Daniel and Johnny want Cobra Kai gone, but Kreese, always the manipulator, throws down an ultimatum; whichever dojo wins the next All Valley Karate Tournament will get to stay, while the other dojo will be kicked out for good. Cobra Kai has been a show that hasn’t let us down yet, and there’s a lot at stake for Season 4, with Johnny and Daniel working out their differences and joining dojos --we’ll see how long that lasts--, and Johnny’s own son Robby becoming a student at Cobra Kai, but it’s the final moment of the show where Kreese makes a phone call to an old acquaintance, one who owed him a pretty big favor, and if you’ve been Karate Kid fan from the beginning, you know who was on the other end:
