Now that the final episode of The Crisis On Infinite Earths has aired, fans everywhere are wondering what exactly is going to happen next. One of the big questions on everyone’s minds is: who is Gleek?
At the very last second of the final episode, some mysterious animal sounds could be heard off-screen. The shot then cutaway to an image of an animal cage with the name Gleek printed on the front of it, and a banana peel hanging suspiciously over one of the bars.
While that image might have been a mystery to some, those who are familiar with the history of DC comics jumped at this not so subtle easter egg.

For those who don’t know, Gleek was a character created for the 1970’s Justice League TV show, and his inclusion into the Arrowverse could mean a few huge things are about to happen. Fans have already begun speculating about just how Gleek is going to factor into the Arrowverse. For starters, this tiny yet important moment took place at the end of an episode of Legends of Tomorrow, so some think he’ll be popping up in future episodes of that show. But the thing is, Gleek has always appeared alongside The Wonder Twins, so it seems likely that if we’re getting Gleek, we’ll be getting them too! Not only that, this could mean big things for the future of the entire Arrowverse, spanning every show. For all of the info you need to know about this mysterious new character and the future of the Arrowverse, check out the video below!
