Doctor Strange 2: Incursions Will Destroy The Multiverse

If you have seen Doctor Strange 2, you will know that the word ‘incursion’ is pretty important (I mean, they do say it a whole bunch of times). Despite incursions being important, we don’t actually really see the full impact of them, and just get a small glimpse of the true destruction an incursion can cause. So what exactly is an incursion? What causes them? How can they be stopped? What potential storyline could an incursion be setting up? And why does the mere mention of them spell massive doom for the Multiverse?
