Multiversal shenanigans are all the rage in 2022, with Benedict Cumberbatch starring alongside himself and himself in Sam Raimi’s Doctor Strange 2, not to mention Nicolas Cage playing Nic Cage, new Into The Spider-Verse sequels forthcoming, Rick and Morty and all that jazz. But perhaps the most unique and bizarre entry in this new sub-genre is Everything Everywhere All At Once, written and directed by Daniels, aka Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, creators of Swiss Army Man. You know, the one where Daniel Radcliffe - hey, another Dan - played a friendly farting corpse that Paul Dano - Riddler in The Batman, fact fans - uses as a speedboat. Yeah, those guys.

In their new movie, martial arts legend and star of Crazy Rich Asians, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Tomorrow Never Dies and Star Trek Discovery Michelle Yeoh plays a woman named Evelyn, who is just trying to do her taxes, but ends up fighting an evil Jamie Lee Curtis and traveling through numerous parallel dimensions that get weirder and stranger as the film progresses.
