When Netflix released its adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski’s “The Witcher” book series in 2019, it was a hit with viewers. Taking place in the fantasy world of The Continent, “The Witcher” tells the story of monster hunter Geralt of Rivia and his young ward, Princess Ciri, along with several others.
This isn’t the first time Sapkowski’s characters have been brought to life on screen, though. There are three video game adaptations of the series, beginning with 2007’s “The Witcher.” Needless to say, fans had certain expectations for the characters going into the show.
