With the Joker movie causing controversy all over the place after only having been in theatres for a few days, fans everywhere are finding themselves divided. Do they rush out to see what all the fuss is about, or stay home and keep out of all of the drama? Well, for those who have seen Joker and have a ton of questions about the ending, this video is for you! We get into all of the nitty gritty about what exactly went down during that mind bending finale. Be warned, there are a ton of spoilers ahead, so proceed with caution!
Starting at the beginning, we dive deep into what led to the unbelievable events in the film’s finale. In this iteration, we start out by following the man behind the clown makeup, Arthur Fleck, through a life that is riddled with hardships and obstacles. Fleck is, by day a sign twirling clown and by night, somewhat unfortunately, trying his hand at stand up comedy. After being beaten down one too many times, Fleck gives in to his psychotic urges and begins enacting a ton of violence on the wealthy elite of Gotham. But instead of being hated for his violent and vengeful acts, Joker becomes a folk hero for the downtrodden citizens who are tired of living in poverty in Gotham. We’ll also get into that mind bending ending, the lengths that Joaquin Phoenix went to to get into character, and what the overall message of the movie might be! So check out the video below!
