Marvel's Eternals: Everything We Know So Far

The biggest cinematic universe ever has the single greatest movie franchise of all time. Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Captain Mar-Vell (wait that’s not right…), Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: Far From Home, WandaVision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Black Widow, Shang-Chi and What If are all their greatest success stories. They will be following all of this up with their latest film following Jack Kirby’s writing, like his New Gods stories that introduced Zack Snyder’s Justice League villain Darkseid.

The new film creates a bold new mythology of Celestials, gods and potentially lays the foundation for more. The X-Men, the Inhumans, Namor, Galactus, Ego and more. They go all the way back to the origins of mankind, mirroring movies like 2001: A Space Odyssey. The characters Ikaris, Cersi, Thena, Makkari, Phastos, Ajak, Druig, Sprite, Kingo and Gilgamesh have influenced all of history against Deviants like their general Kro. This movie will star Angelina Jolie, Crazy Rich Asian star Gemma Chan, Kumail Nanjiani, Atlanta star Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek and two stars from Game of Thrones: Jon Snow Kit Harington as the Black Knight Dane Whitman and Rob Stark as Ikaris who is doing his best Superman impersonation.
