MCU Actors You Didn’t Realize Did Their Own Stunts

What would be the fun of being a superhero if you didn’t do some cool superhero stuff? The Marvel Cinematic Universe is chocked full of supersized superheroes doing superheroic stuff. While it’s neither practical or even a good idea to have the actors putting themselves in harm's way to do the hard work of saving the universe, some actors are more than willing to step into the harness to do some of the high flying hard hitting comic book action. Whether it’s just to get into the role of the villains and heroes or if it’s something they already had extensive training in or they just think it looks fun, there are some actors that populate the cinematic world of Marvel who do the dangerous stuff. That can have its cost. A listers like Robert Downey Jr or new comers and stunt veterans like Simu Liu can jump into the action only to pay the heavy physical toll, while others might find a new part of themselves or understanding their abilities if it’s Hallie Steinfeld gaining confidence through training by Black Widow stunt performer Heidi Moneymaker or Brie Larson discovering that she enjoys physical training. An actor can add some authenticity by putting themselves in harm's way, though the times of actor bravado are changing and more and more action stars are making sure their stunt teams get the credit they deserve, either by taking the hits or by training the stars to take theirs.
