The Living Vampire has not had a smooth ride to the big screen. Delays both on the production end and the end of the world end has meant that the movie sat on shelves for a longer time than usual before filling the space between Batman and Doctor Strange. There were a lot of questions on the table that the good doctor with the bat connection could have fixed for us. What is the status of the Multiverse? Just where does the Sonyverse stand when it comes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Venom came and went in the MCU and now Adrian Toombs has slid over as well. While we were hoping that the movie would clarify these confusing elements of custody and canon, it instead created even more questions. And not just questions about who is in what universe, but just how does the logic work in the one universe that we’re in? With an end credits scene that just made things worse we’re more confused than ever. Now there is a new set of questions as the Sonyverse builds its way once again towards the Sinister Six. Half of the team already exists in the same universe with another on the way, but who’s left to join and how? And without their signature hero foil, what exactly is it they’ll be doing? Who will they be fighting? Does the Sonyverse get its own wall crawler? Will it be Andrew Garfield? Or Miles Morales?
