Obi-Wan Kenobi Ending Explained

So, the Obi-Wan Kenobi series has drawn to a close and we have to say it ended in quite the fashion, with an epic lightsaber duel, some cool cameos and a return of a line we have been waiting so long for. It is all quite a satisfying conclusion, and although there are certainly some continuity quibbles and potential plot holes created by the series, it all sets up A New Hope and the classic Star Wars saga pretty nicely.

But what does this all mean? How does it play out into A New Hope? What did that final shot and line mean? And will there be a second season? These are the questions we seek to answer in this video, as will go through the final episode with a fine comb and hopefully provide the answers to any other questions you might have. We will look at the references to A New Hope, the importance of that particular showdown and the ambiguous fate of one of the show’s new characters. We will also use evidence from the people who worked on the show to see whether or not a second season might happen, and why there are some exciting possibilities for Obi-Wan moving forward.
