Description

#ReginaKing, director of #OneNightInMiami and stars #AldisHodge, #LeslieOdomJr, #EliGoree, and #KingsleyBenAdir share the first time they saw themselves reflected on screen. They dive deep into the actors and roles that inspired them, and what they hope audiences will take away from their ground-breaking film. The cast also breaks down the importance of representation behind the camera, and why it's so important to have a seat at the table in every department of filmmaking.

'One Night in Miami' is a fictional account of one incredible night where icons #MuhammedAli, #MalcolmX, #SamCooke, and #JimBrown gathered discussing their roles in the civil rights movement and cultural upheaval of the 60's. Emmy and Academy Award winner Regina King makes her directorial debut with a script penned by Kemp Powers. Aldis Hodge stars as Jim Brown, Leslie Odom Jr. as Sam Cooke, Eli Goree as #CassiusClay, and Kingsley Ben-Adir as Malcolm X.
