Rick & Morty Season 5: Everything You Missed

With the latest season of the show involving our favorite alcoholic Grandfather and his awkward teenage grandson having drawn to a close, with the series being packed full of laughs, cringe worthy moments, pop culture references, and some kind of disgusting moments. There are so many of these moments and references that while you may have caught a fair few on the first time around, there might be some you didn’t notice.

That’s why we thought we’d take a look at some of the things from the show’s fifth season that you may not have known or not realized on first viewing. This will include references to obscure 80s horror movies, some more noticeable references to some of the biggest sci-fi movies and animated series around, hidden storyboard art placed into one of the episodes, secretly poking fun at one of the biggest franchises of all time (one that Dan Harmon reportedly hates) the MCU, cameos from some of Marvel’s greatest villains (despite them never being on the big screen before), subtle location and character designs that pay tribute to some notable movies and even call backs to earlier episodes of the show. So, grab your portal guns and get in your spaceships, as we take a look at everything you missed in the latest season.
