Secret Invasion Twist: The Truth Behind Rhodey

You take a few years off to process having been turned to dust and back in order to build a space station defense system to make sure that never happens again and all the people your team of superheroes have saved get really, really mad at you. That’s the world that Nick Fury is navigating in the latest Disney+ series Secret Invasion. The Skrulls are tired of waiting for Fury and Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel to find them a new home so they’ll be taking ours if Fury can stop getting chewed out long enough to save everyone again. But standing in his way almost certainly is a Skrull wearing a friend’s face. James Rhodey Rhodes has a third skin hiding under the War Machine armor, and it’s almost certainly a Skrull skin, and here’s why we know that.
