Squid Game: How Every Player's Ending Was Foreshadowed

By now you would likely have heard of a little Korean TV series called “Squid Game”. That’s because, since its release, it has become the biggest show of all time on Netflix with over 111million views and is basically all over the internet right now. The jet black battle royale style show which serves as an all too obvious social commentary has become an absolute juggernaut in the media industry right now, with fans absolutely devouring all Squid Game related content. The show is loved for it’s absolutely gorgeous cinematography, complex and intricate characters, wild plot points, crazy twists and of course the savage games themselves. But another thing that makes the show so great is the constant use of foreshadowing - in particular the way that almost every major character in the show has their ending referenced early on in the show.

In this video we are going to take a look at every time one of the character's end and/or death was revealed early on (and in one case, tellingly not) and how they managed to subtly make references that we missed at the start of the series. Basically in a nutshell, Episode 2 has a looooooot of foreshadowing when it comes to character deaths, like seriously, a lot! From early prophecies coming true, subtle lines of dialogue telling us how a character will die, to the players’ lives on the outside referencing their deaths on the inside, this is how the show foreshadowed basically every ending!
