Morbius is here! The new addition to Sony's universe of Marvel characters has come out of the shadows to face the critics' sharp fangs – and the critics have had themselves a feast.

While the reviews on Rotten Tomatoes may tell a depressing story, it's not all bad for Michael Morbius, or his self-titled movie. Even the more negative reviews are finding spots of light in the anti-hero picture, praising the intriguing main character, some cool visual effects, and some winsome comic relief in Al Madrigal and Tyrese Gibson.
