Television characters might be fictional figures played by actors, but that doesn't mean that audiences don't get attached to them! After all, spending week after week with the same people — real or imagined — will warm someone up to even the most morally iffy TV personalities. For "NCIS" fans, though, the quirky goth forensics investigator Abby (played by actress Pauley Perrette) didn't need to endear herself to viewers. She was always a breath of fresh, happy-go-lucky air, even during the show's many dark, brooding moments — until a certain episode, at least. Hey, every rose has its thorns, right?
