“The Batman” has finally hit the screens, and fans are getting the chance to witness the dark noir vision of the Caped Crusader as portrayed by Robert Pattinson. In the new film, Matt Reeves introduces audiences to fascinating takes on some of Batman’s most famous villains, like the Riddler and Penguin.

However, there was one cameo that some fans feel missed the mark in a big way. At the end of the film, once the Riddler has been captured, a mysterious figure in the adjacent cell communicates with him.
