Description

After that closing episode, you’d probably need the ending of Titans season 1 explained - we got this - here’s how it all broke down. The most obvious question is, “Did robin hallucinate everything at the end of season 1 of Titans?” Well… maybe? We know that at least part of it is all in his head: Robin and Dove are married. Jason Todd is in a wheelchair and Batman killed the Joker. Yeah, all that was just a fever dream of crazy brought on by Trigon, the big bad of season 1.

Did you notice who wasn’t around too much in the Titans finale? Beast Boy. Where exactly was Gar? Given Beast Boy’s powers, the former Teen Titans Comics Changeling might have some sort of psychic thing going on, and we’re not convinced that it’s actually Gar who helps Dick overcome Trigon’s mind altering spell.

Perhaps the biggest thing from the Titans final episode was teaser right at the end of the episode. In it, a lab is virtually destroyed and a rampaging man is seen. The episode wants to make sure you catch the hint - as we see that telltale S on his arm - which of course stands for Superman. He frees a dog in a cage, which then displays some glowing eyes. Clearly that’s Krypto, Superman’s dog, but is this actually Superman? Or Superboy? We’re thinking that Kon-El, not Kal-el - the usual Superman. Kon-El is a clone of Superman (in Superboy form) - which sets up Titans season 2 to be a doozy!
