The Mandalorian will be a completely different take on the Star Wars universe when it streams on Disney Plus this November! Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant

Pretty soon, there is going to be a whole lot more Disney and Disney-related content for us to consume with our eyeballs thanks to the wonders of Disney+.

The streaming platform is adding a slew of new shows including ones related to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and even the Star Wars franchise.

The first one related to the latter that we are getting, is The Mandalorian, and at D23 2019, we got the show’s first official trailer, giving us a glimpse at the bounty hunter-based action that will soon be able to be watched in the comfort of our own living rooms.

Or bedrooms. Or hey, even your bathroom! We don’t judge.

So since we here at Screen Rant are so hyped for the series, let’s breakdown the trailer, and see what we can see. Shall we?

Really, the trailer basically leaves us with one major question. Several smaller ones as well, like who the heck is this guy? Where did he come from...all that jazz, but also just when exactly the show takes place.

As I said, we were told that it takes place post Return of the Jedi, but the Imperials have such a large presence in that it seems a bit odd. Maybe it is set before the Battle of Jakku, which is where the conflict between the Imperials and the newly minted New Republic ended proper? Could explain the strung out looking Stormtroopers, having them be the last remaining pieces of the soon-to-disband Imperial army.

Who knows at this point? So since we here at Screen Rant are so hyped for the series, let’s breakdown the trailer, and see what we can see. Shall we?
