The Mandalorian Season 2 has been an absolute thrill ride and has been the epitome of Star Wars. With a number of phenomenal action sequences, hidden easter eggs and massive plot reveals, we have been kept on the edge of our seat for the entirety of the season. One of the biggest bombshells though is certainly the fact that Baby Yoda actually has a name and backstory! As you know, his real name is Grogu and it was revealed that he was a student at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and was trained by a number of Jedi Masters. That, of course, was until Order 66 and the events of the Jedi Purge when Grogu was taken from the Temple by a mystery person and taken to safety, until the events of his life go dark. But what did happen to him? And who is that mystery person who saved him? Well, we have some theories and we’re going to discuss them!

We are going to take a look at the potential candidates who might have put themselves in harm's way and rescued a young Grogu from the Jedi Temple. From the return of long thought dead characters, characters with villainous motives and Jedi searching to restore their Order, we will look through the candidates and identify the most likely characters that could have saved him.
