All bloopers, film mishaps and just straight up unfortunate events aren’t always created equally. I mean we all mess up, some more than others and some cost waaaaaay more than others. So let’s look at some of the most expensive movie mistakes and bloopers in Hollywood history. From box office disasters like Heaven’s Gate and The Island of Dr. Moreau to potential social experiments like the first draft of Sonic the Hedgehog because there’s no way anyone who looked at the first draft of Sonic thought that was good to put out. All the entries in this list are looking at all the missteps that make you go, how did they let this happen?
Bloopers are usually supposed to just be funny little mishaps that you can catch on the DVD release or more realistically on YouTube but sometimes they cost more than most of us will ever make and that can be funny but like in an existential way not in a funny ha ha way.
