When the first look at Paul Dano's Riddler was released, some saw his outfit and dubbed him the "Hypebeast Riddler." Maybe this villain would be fashionable, contemporary, with a redeeming quality or two. What we actually got was one of the most unhinged creeps in all of "Batman" cinematic history.

"The Batman" has a lot of bad guys in it, but the Riddler is by far the worst, with a sadistic plan and a frightening demeanor of deceptive calm.
