When it came to their peak, nobody came close to The Simpsons. Seasons 4-10 are often seen as their golden age (or yellow age for them) and although the show is still going strong, it’s hard to say any episodes since have lived up to those years. I mean, when someone says ‘Monorail’ how does your mind not go to that Simpsons episode? Or every time you watch Citizen Kane your mind goes to the ‘Rosebud’ episode. The show was so strong that there were actually a number of absolutely classic gags, punchlines and skits that would have been the best part of any other show, but didn’t manage to make it into their respective Simpsons episode.

In this video, we are going to take a look at 15 of some of the best Simpsons deleted scenes that didn’t make the cut and bring them back to life. From flashbacks to the early days of Homer and Marge’s marriage, hilarious one liners, running gags, Milhouse getting arrested, a bizarre love dream sequence between two main character, Mr Burns bribing Homer, classic Flanderisms, the origins of certain characters and their particular traits and Grandpa being Grandpa. These are some of the greatest Simpsons deleted scenes!
