The Suicide Squad Moment That Went Too Far

Considering that "The Suicide Squad" is an R-rated film by the director of flicks like "Slither" and "Super," most fans could expect that the new superhero films would be a bit transgressive and very violent. Those fans likely felt validated when the opening action scene features a slew of violent, shocking deaths that stayed true the comic book roots of the film. But as it turns out, there's another scene in the film so shocking and uncomfortable that Warner Bros. executives felt the need to push back on its inclusion. This is "The Suicide Squad" moment that went too far.
