Description

Credits goes to Aaron S. for the video.
"The Walking Dead has returned for its final premiere, marking the start of Season 11C with the AMC+ release of Episode 11.17 - 'Lockdown' and 11.18 - 'A New Deal', and with these episodes comes a changed title sequence!

With this last batch of episodes, they have decided to go all out by adding 10 new cast members to the titles, and for the first time in the era of the animated style titles, cast members have been credited together in the same shot.

The new additions to the titles include Eleanor Matsuura (Yumiko), Lauren Ridloff (Connie), Cailey Fleming (Judith Grimes), Nadia Hilker (Magna), Cassady McClincy (Lydia), Angel Theory (Kelly), Paola Lazaro (Juanita "Princess" Sanchez), Michael James Shaw (Michael Mercer), Josh Hamilton (Lance Hornsby) and Laila Robins (Pamela Milton).

To accommodate these new arrivals, the title sequence has been extended with new animated sequences, and the main theme tune has also been extended to feature a new composition of the score by Bear McCreary!

On the visual side of things, the shot of the rebuilding barn with the hanging noose from Season 9's intros has made a return. New visuals include a view of the Hilltop in its current state, complete with the banners of the Commonwealth draped over the walls, and a brief, overhead birds-eye view of the Alexandria Safe-Zone has also been incorporated.

In the final section of the titles before the logo, the walkers are now headed towards an army of Commonwealth troopers, and behind them is a skyline landscape on the horizon, with a red coloured sun above.

This then leads into a new end logo, which is now predominantly white, with blood running down a couple sections of the logo lettering." - noted by Aaron S.
